FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT SLEEVE additionally strengthens and protects the pipe outlets from deformation. It is used together with the waterproofing membrane FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT. Waterproofing sleeves are immersed in the first layer of the waterproofing membrane and covered with the second. FOME FLEX waterproof sleeve is chemically resistant to Hydrochloric acid 3 %, Sulfuric acid 35 %, Potassium hydroxide 3 % / 20 %, Lactic acid 5 %, Sodium hypochlorite 0,3 g/l, Salt water (20 g/l).
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be clean, smooth, dry, free of grease, mechanical damage and other particles that reduce adhesion.
APPLICATION
The product is ready to use. Prime the surface. Wait until it dries. Then apply the first layer of FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT waterproofing membrane on the surface. Take the FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT FLEX SLEEVE and dip it into the first layer of applied membrane. Press firmly against the surface so that there are no wrinkles and the membrane is fully absorbed into the sleeve. Apply a second layer of membrane over the submerged sleeve to completely cover the tape. Apply the membrane to the sleeve with a roller, brush or trowel.
